History
1994: Giro SRL. is founded, a company with 100% romanian private capital.
1996: begins its activity with transportation of garments on hangers, in particular in relation to England.
1998: is purchased the first new truck, one of 7.5 T, equipped to transport garments on hangers.
2000: is purchased the first new trailer equipped to transport garments on hangers.

2001: is opened the headquarters based in Alba Iulia, on Calea Mosilor No. 117, which includes service, laundry and parking for proper trucks.
2002: Giro becomes one of the three top companies in Romania in the carriage of garments on hangers.
2006: are purchased the first 20 trucks for temperature controlled transport.
2008: is opened the new warehouse and logistics center in Vintu de Jos, where the company headquarters is moved and established.
2008: the old headquarters of Alba Iulia opens the service of wheels, which soon becomes accredited partner of BRIDGESTONE in the TRUCKPOINT network. |

Today, Giro serves important clients in the garment industry from England, Germany, France, the Netherlands.
In Europe we are delivering goods at MIM , Naf-Naf , Casino, ETAM, 123 , Jacqeline Riu ,Alain Figaret, Nelson, M&S Mode Amsterdam, C&A Germany , etc.

Giro is a Nominated Carrier for several retailers in Uk as following: Debenhams, Marks & Spencer , New Look , Reiss. Also we can provide direct deliveries almoust to any retailer DC in the Uk where is not necesary a "nominated carrier " status ex . Peackocs , Primark , River Island , Asda , Matalan , Dunnes , C&A , Jane Norman , etc.
Current headquarters is at Vintu de Jos, near Alba Iulia, at 2 kilometers from the future highway Bucharest-Nadlac (Pan European 4 Corridor), comprises:
15,000 square meters of lorry parking for our fleet 2300 square meters of warehouse for hanging garments and general cargo 600 square meters workshop, spare parts, and truckwash for our fleet offices
In the future we intend to build in the same location other storage halls.
The whole chamber is secured with video surveillance systems (CCTV). |
